Terms of service

The following Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the hire of studio space, facilities, and/or equipment Atelier Haus by the Hirer (“You”, “Your”, “Client”) from Atelier Haus (“We”, “Us”, “Our”, “Supplier”). By booking or using the Studio, You agree to comply with the
following:

1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

1.1 Bookings are only confirmed once payment is received in full (or deposit if agreed in writing).

1.2 Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.

1.3 The Hirer must vacate the Studio by the end time of their booking. Additional time will be charged at the agreed hourly rate.

2. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

2.1 Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booking date may be rescheduled subject to availability.

2.2 Cancellations made more than 48 hours before will incur a 25% cancellation fee with the remainder refunded to the client

2.2 Cancellations made within 48 hours of the booking start time are non-refundable.

2.3 We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

3. STUDIO USE

3.1 The Hirer agrees to use the Studio and any equipment with due care and for lawful purposes only.

3.2 The Studio may not be used for illegal, defamatory, or unsafe activities.

3.3 The Hirer is responsible for the conduct of all persons in the Studio during the booking.

4. EQUIPMENT & DAMAGE

4.1 Equipment must be used only for its intended purpose.

4.2 Any damage or loss of equipment, furniture, props, or Studio facilities caused during the booking is the responsibility of the Hirer,
who agrees to cover repair or replacement costs.

4.3 The Hirer must not attempt to repair equipment themselves. Faults or breakdowns must be reported immediately.

4.4 Equipment may not be sub-hired, removed from the Studio, or used by third parties without written permission.

5. HEALTH, SAFETY & LIABILITY

5.1 The Hirer acknowledges that use of the Studio and equipment involves inherent risks.

5.2 The Hirer is responsible for ensuring safe practices for all participants during the booking.

5.3 We are not liable for personal injury, loss of income, or damage to personal property sustained during the booking.

5.4 Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times.

6. CLEANING & RETURN CONDITION

6.1 The Studio must be left in the same clean and tidy condition it was provided.

6.2 Additional cleaning fees may apply if the Studio is left in an unreasonable state.

6.3 Rubbish must be disposed of in the bins provided.

7. DEPOSITS & SECURITY

7.1 A security deposit may be required at our discretion and will be held against potential damage, loss, or breach of these Terms.

7.2 We reserve the right to retain part or all of the deposit to cover repair, replacement, or additional charges.

8. BREACH OF TERMS

8.1 Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund.

8.2 We reserve the right to refuse future bookings from Clients who breach these Terms.

9. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
